Building successful relationships sits at the core of Hart Bridge Consulting’s ethos and Inga prides herself on an honest, straight-talking approach with a refreshing sense of realism about what is viable and achievable.  Whether she’s managing stakeholder relationships, implementing different accounting and payroll systems in-house, leading strategic cost efficiency projects or negotiating tricky contract terms, Inga’s key focus centres on commercially sound decision-making to deliver the best outcomes for her clients.

Inga’s long career in hospitality spans almost a decade working with blue-chip brands such as Sandals Resorts as Chief Compliance Officer, holding a senior finance role at Ace Hotels where she was part of the Executive Opening Team for the hotel in Shoreditch, London. At WATG Inga’s role included both UK and global responsibility for project accounting, credit control and cash flow management across six locations worldwide. Her career highlights include establishing a new subsidiary branch for WATG in Oman (Middle East), converting its UK branch office into a legal entity and more recently, managing complex internal compliance around service contracts for Sandals Resorts, to name a few.

Hart Bridge Consulting is a boutique business with access to a varied network of hospitality professionals that compliment its core skills, from tax accountants to solicitors and HR professionals, the consultancy has the ability to provide a plethora of services and to scale up or down according to individual business requirements. Clients include entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs in the hospitality sector as well as more established businesses requiring ad-hoc interim project support.

Most recently, Inga has worked on projects such as:

  • Developing a budget for an SME hospitality service provider along with cash flow tools to enable owners to manage a business expansion with measurable targets and expected outcomes.

  • Enhancing contract management process in order to improve commercial terms as well as manage cost for an independent hotel company.

Hart Bridge Consulting is headquartered in London in the UK but Icelandic-born Inga, has also lived in Switzerland, Sweden, Canada and the Caribbean and has worked overseas in the Middle East too, so brings with her a wealth of experience and consistency working across many different business cultures around the globe.

It will be her first Ultra Marathon but builds nicely on her experience of training for and running the NYC marathon in 2016 and numerous half-marathons across Europe & North America. Combining travel & running is a passion that fits well with a hospitality career.
